Doctor Orisek has practiced Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in Los Gatos since 1985. He obtained his medical degree at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1979. He completed residency in Otolaryngolgy/Head & Neck Surgery at University of California, Davis and was board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery in 1985. During his residency at U.C. Davis he completed a one year fellowship in MaxillofacialSurgery, a one year fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and was certified by the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in 1985. He also served on the faculty in 1985 as an Associate Clinical Professor. He is presently on staff at Columbia - Good Samaritan Hospital and HealthSouth-Forest Avenue Outpatient Surgery Center. He has served as an Attending Clinical Instructor with the Stanford University Medical School Department of Head & Neck Surgery in which he has assisted in the training of their residents at the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. In June, 2002, Dr. Orisek was appointed to the Univeristy of California at Davis Medical Center as a Associate Clinical Professor involved in training of their residents in Facial Plastic & Reconstruction Surgery. He also was appointed Assistant Professor at Mather Air Force Base Hospital in Sacramento as head of the Department of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. He is a published author of several medical papers and has lectured at international and national Academy meetings, state meetings as well as serving as guest speaker for local groups and hospitals. He also has served as advisor and commentator for KPIX/CBS network news.
